SUNDAY SERVICE- In-person worship will begin Sunday, March 6, 2022. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.

We are pleased to announce that the Church Council decided at the September 1, 2022 meeting that all COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted. Our choir will be back in the loft on Sunday mornings and everyone will be free to return to their favourite seat in the sanctuary. Masks will not be required, but you are certainly welcome to wear one if you wish. For those who feel the need to social distance, the balcony will also be available. Worship services will continue to be live-streamed for those who are unable to join us in the sanctuary.

A warm welcome to all who will be worshipping with us on Sunday!  If this is your first time with us, please be sure to sign one of our guest books located at each back door, and introduce yourself to some of us. Please join us for coffee and conversation after worship. We gather in the large welcoming space just outside the Sanctuary near the elevator.

The sanctuary and foyer are both wheelchair accessible. The elevator is accessible through the ground level double doors on the church’s west side.

Headsets are available for those in need.

For those who are unable to attend in person, our services are broadcast on CKSW 570 radio every third Sunday of the month at 11:00 a.m.

THE SACRAMENTS

A sacrament is a symbolic action, or a ritual, where ordinary things like water, bread, and wine are used to point us to God and God’s love, reminding us of the sacred in life. Baptism and communion are sacred rituals performed on occasion during regular worship services.

Communion, symbolic of sharing in a sacred family meal with Christ, is held approximately 6 times per year and is open to all. Communion is usually by Intincture, dipping a piece of bread into a cup of juice. A gluten free cracker option is also made available.

Baptism, a ritual signifying joining the family of Christ, is offered as required.  Baptism is held as a part of the regular Sunday worship services. For more information, visit the Baptism page.

LOCATION

We are located at 223 3rd Avenue NE, on the corner of 3rd & Chaplin. Limited street parking is available next to the church, as well as a dedicated parking lot at the end of the block, on the corner of 3rd Avenue & Herbert Street.
